Meet our Homeopath

Dr Helen Beaumont MB ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, MFHom.
Homeopathic Physician

After qualifying from Birmingham Medical School in 1983, Dr Beaumont worked in several hospitals in the West Midlands before completing her vocational training in General Practice. She has been a general practitioner in Solihull for nearly 20 years and during that time had special interests in complementary medicine, women’s health and paediatrics. She has become increasingly aware of the limitations of conventional medicine in the treatment of many chronic diseases and is also concerned about the side effects of some drugs. In 1995 she trained in Oxford, completed a 3 year course in Homeopathic Medicine and her membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy in Jan 1999. She subsequently gained her Specialist Registration and is now an examiner for the Faculty. Initially Dr Beaumont provided homeopathy within general practice and now has a thriving homeopathic practice and has continued studying in the UK, Greece and India with internationally renowned homeopaths. As a medically trained homeopath, she does not reject conventional medicine but uses the two systems to enable patients to benefit from a combined approach wherever appropriate. Dr Beaumont is also a clinical fellow at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital and a tutor in the academic department teaching homeopathy to doctors, vets, dentists and nurses. She is married with two sons and a daughter and is familiar with the hustle and bustle of family life!
